Life Size Barking French Bulldog

Made in Paris around 1880, this Papier-mâché bulldog has a nodding head and a gruff bark operated by pulling on the lead. He wears the traditional bristle collar and has wooden rollers hidden underneath each paw.

Straight with no signs of crushing or damage (by children riding it!), some scuffs and signs of wear. Retains the original finish and overall very good condition.

Size 40cm long x 37cm high, he is life sized and very realistic with high quality glass eyes.
